COVID-19
We know that these are unprecedented times, and we wish you, your friends, and your family the very best.  We want you to know that we are still buying houses and have updated our processes to do so in a safe manner, seeking to maintain recommended social distancing guidelines.
Selling a home can be a challenge even under normal circumstances, and we understand that it can be even more difficult during these times.  We seek to make this process as smooth as possible, and to work with you in the fairest manner for everyone.

How The Updated Process Works

Property Assessment

We will complete a more thorough property assessment over the phone. Once we have our primary questions reviewed, we will look at how we can do a virtual walk through of the house with you. Some of the technologies we have available are:

  • Video Call using a smartphone
  • Video recording
  • Pictures

In our experience we have been able to make very similar assessments using these methods as we have been able to doing site visits.

Making an Offer

If you have a computer or a smart phone, we can send an electronic version of the contract, which can be electronically signed. If this is not possible, we can still deliver a paper copy of the contract and minimize any contact when we give it to you. We can then review the contract via phone to answer any further questions.

Closing Process

The majority of documents that need to be signed in order to complete the closing process can be done electronically, however, there are still a few that require a wet signature in order to be legally binding. In cases where we need to have such documents signed, we can still minimize the contact for signing the final closing papers. In today’s world it is no longer necessary to go to a Title Company, Attorney’s office, or Real Estate Broker office in order to sign papers. Although these methods are still available and the companies we work with all practice social distancing guidelines within their offices, we can use a mobile notary that has experience in social distancing measures for signing documents. We would have a mobile notary come to you, at now cost to you, in order to complete the closing.

Timeframe: Based on our experience, we do not anticipate any delays in providing you an offer or in closing on the sale. In many cases we can actually complete the transaction quicker because we are not having to schedule a property visit and travel.
